Moraine Park will be temporarily closed starting Monday, July 13, as the City of Kelowna begins upgrades to the park’s irrigation system and grass areas.
The closure is expected to remain in place until early October while crews install a new watering system designed to improve reliability and conserve water.
The city says the existing irrigation setup is outdated and the improvements will help bring the park up to modern standards while supporting healthier green space.
The work is part of the city’s ongoing efforts to maintain and improve public parks and outdoor spaces across Kelowna.
