‘Frightening’ fire but minimal interior damage: UBCO

UBC Okanagan says last week’s fire on campus was “frightening” but there was minimal damage to the inside of the building.

The Creative and Critical studies site was evacuated Thursday due to a fire on the roof.

The University said in a social media post that the building damage is currently being assessed, and they expect a return to classes there “…in the coming weeks.”
