As Memorial Cup fever takes over Kelowna, the Kelowna Art Gallery is joining the celebration with Wackem Sackem, a pop-up exhibition by Penticton artist and former player Glenn Clark.
Running May 21 to 31 alongside the tournament, the show brings hockey-inspired sculptural paintings to life just steps from Prospera Place.
“I’ve met many of my closest friends at the rink,” says Clark in a news release.
The exhibition also invites visitors to take part, with interactive features including a goalie selfie station, fan sketch mural, and DIY jersey and mask activities.
Wackem Sackem runs in the Thomas A. Budd Gallery and Art Lab, with free admission for kids under 12 and gallery members.
